Kazondwe Camp and Lodge


Nikolai and Aniéla Allers and their team have built up Kazondwe over the last few years. Susanne Allers and Mark Axford are the camp managers and lovingly look after the family business and its guests.


 
About Kazondwe:

  • Kazondwe Camp is located in the Caprivi Strip of Namibia. Located between Rundu and Katima Mulilo, the camp is accessible 16 kilometers from the main road (Kongola junction). The journey can be made with a "normal" car.
  • There is a restaurant and bar on Kazondwe for the use of booked guests. Selected dishes and drinks are served in stylish ambience.
  • There are five campsite. Sanitary facilities are available. This includes a bathroom with shower and toilet. Electricity and water are included. There are firepits on each campsite. The natural world around the Kwando can be experienced up close from the campsite. These include buffalo, elephants, hippos and spectacular birdlife. There is a water point directly in front of the campsite.
  • The Lapa, our restaurant, bar and lounge, is located on a red dune, overlooking the Kwando flood plain and a hippo pool. Adjacent to this, an infinity pool provides the necessary cooling and a relaxation area for the long-awaited holiday rest.
  • On a hill with a “holiday view” you can book four twin bed tents with shower and toilet. Including electricity and hot water.
  • Furthermore, our two dune studios (self-catering or DBB) can be booked with a fully equipped kitchen, shower, toilet and air conditioning.
  • Our range of services includes:

        · Boat tours on the Kwando River

        · Sundowner rides

        · Overnight stay on campsite, in tent or in our studio

        · Drinks and food for “BB” or “DBB” guests
